VIDEO: Reverse Graffiti Art: Herausgeputzt

  1. The art blog wouldn't let me post comments so I put them in an email.

I really liked the reverse graffiti art. I thought it was a really
interesting concept. I wonder who thought of it and how they thought of it.
I found it strange how some people put up with usual graffiti, but some
    people
wouldn't let them do art on their wall when all they're doing is taking of
    dirt.

I liked the Eden of the East video because of all of the attention to
detail. The paper cutout people had shadows and their silouettes were
really detailed and realistic. I like how for the explosion they just had
crumpled paper. Having plain crumpled paper was much more effective as
an explosion compared to a really detailed one, because real explosions
usually have so much dust that it looks just like a big cloud.

  2. If you go to youtube you can see different videos of artists creating reverse graffiti or grime writing images...a very interesting idea indeed!

  3. I think this was a creative and wise idea because your cleaning and expressing art at the same time! It's really detailed and looks like they put a lot of effort into it.

  4. It is cool to watch the hoses cleaning the spot before you actually paint it, it makes a good outline.

  10. I like the way that they use the water to help shape the ouline of the piece of art, and it's a very eco-friendly way to express creativity. I want to try doing this someday!

  14. I thought that this was intersting how they use grime and make it on the wall and how they made the designs on the wall and at the end it looks really cool when they put it into a wooden stencle. That was so cool!!!!!

  15. This is so interesting! I like how they use a dirty wall instead of a clean one and wash away the dirt while the stencil is on so that when the stencil is there, it will create a picture!
